About Me
Hi, I am Abdul Ahad, recently I completed Fisheries Engineering/Aquacultural Engineering, besides, I am a Fish Farmer and do fish farming in our family’s traditional pond. The pond is approximately 1 acre in area and is the largest pond in our municipality.
Our pond is located right next to my house, in which I have been personally producing fish for about 8 Years. Not only me but also my father and grandfather’s occupation was fish production, they made a good living by farming fish in several ponds including this pond.
 Now, I have been in charge of this pond for about 8 years, and I have to do the conservation, maintenance, and fish production of the pond myself.
As I have been closely associated with the pond for 8 long years, and having grown up next to it since childhood, I have a very good understanding of the pond and its ecosystem.
Not only this pond, I also rent about 6 other ponds and produce fish every season, my days are well spent with the earnings from there.
New fish farmers and avid fish farmers in my neighborhood regularly contact me for various pond and fish farming tips. I help and inspire them with tips and information as much as I can.
I love to give them inspiration and sound tips. This love shouldn’t be bound to a certain region. So I have decided to share pond-related information and tips with you regularly through this blog, which will not be confined to a specific area.
